Because a budget is such an important factor, this should be done soon after the engagement so you can begin to know how much you have to work with and how much you may have to work around.

This may include only you and your or an entire family. If you don't have anyone like that in your life, use the internet to teach you what you don't know and what you would to learn. Don't sell yourself short.
